One on One with Simon Mitchell of Young Guns

Dive into UK's Young Guns from Buckinghamshire, England. Formed in 2004, their lineup includes: Gustav Wood (Vocals); John Taylor (Guitar); Fraser Taylor (Guitar); Simon Mitchell (Bass); and Ben Jolliffe (Drums). Young Guns discography includes 3 EPs and 3 studio albums, with a new studio release titled 'Echoes' out on September 16, 2016.

I had the chance to meet with bassist Simon Mitchell for an interview at this years Warped. We talked about their journey as first time Warped artists, Simon's iPod playlist, and their new album release. This fall, they'll be touring in the UK, US, and ending in Europe.

An Inside Look with More To Monroe

Take a look at the Frederick, Maryland based band More To Monroe, who consists of: Johnny Jamison (Bass, Vocals); Jacob Maughan (Drums, Vocals); Sam Smisek (Guitar, Vocals); and Chris D'Aquino (Vocals, Guitar). More To Monroe released their debut EP 'Appalachia' in September 2015. These guys share a label with artists such as Slipknot, Motionless In White, Gojira, and more. A wonderful feat for the young band, who formed in July 2012.

I had the opportunity to sit these guys down for a quick interview at Warped Tour. We quickly setup in a press room which slightly helped block out the blasting amps from the band playing right behind us. Each one of the guys are welcoming and friendly as we introduce ourselves to one another, and seem to be stoked when they learn that this is my first interview; which I'll always be grateful for. We jump right in and learn about their time on Warped, their essentials for the road, and the fact that they'll be working on new stuff when they get back home.
